Newly Created role – This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional with a technical/civils/ drainage background to take ownership of the B2B (Stockist) sales function on a National Basis. Your focus will be to promote JDP’s market profile and secure increased market share with Independent and 2nd Tier Merchants.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll enjoy holding an influencing role within a group where you can progress your career as an integral part of the senior sales team.

Profile

You will come to us with:

  • Extensive experience working as a Sales Professional within either a Civils or Construction business
  • Experience developing long term relationships with stockists within our industry
  • Knowledge and experience of the civil drainage industry
  • Ability to work using your own initiative within a demanding, target driven environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, networking and interpersonal skills
  • A natural relationship builder with strong business development skills

About you:

  • You may have started your career 'on the tools' before working your way up into Sales Management
  • You may come from a manufacturing background with experience in ‘selling the range’
  • Product knowledge is a must
  • A natural relationship builder with strong business development skills
  • Established network of contacts in the industry so you can hit the ground running
