Are you a financial expert with a knack for driving commercial success? We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Controller to join our team and play a pivotal role in aligning finance with our commercial objectives.

As our Commercial Controller, you’ll:

• Drive Financial Performance: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses that guide key business decisions.
• Lead Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting process, create rolling forecasts, and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Be a Trusted Business Partner: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align financial strategies with business goals, advising on pricing, product profitability, and market expansion.
• Optimize Profitability: Monitor and improve product and customer margins, manage cost drivers, and assess the impact of pricing strategies.
• Ensure Compliance & Manage Risk: Maintain a strong internal control environment, assess financial risks, and support audits.
• Support Commercial Projects: Provide financial oversight and insights on key projects, supplier negotiations, and investment opportunities.
• Monitor & Enhance Performance: Develop dashboards and reports to track performance, analyze market trends, and continuously improve financial processes.

You report to the VP of Finance 

Profile

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, commercial finance, or a similar role within a fast-paced business environment.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong experience in partnering with commercial teams (sales, marketing, operations).
• Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• The ability to thrive under pressure, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fluency in English is must, with additional European language skills preferred.
• Willingness to travel in Europe up to about 20%.
